What is Green Shipping Protection?

Green Shipping Protection is premium package protection for your BrüMate order that calculates your carbon footprint and the cost to offset it at checkout. For about 1% of your order total, you can opt-in to have 100% of carbon emissions associated with the order offset, and the order will be fully protected against theft, damage, and carrier mishandling. Carbon offset funds will be contributed to carefully selected projects in partnership with Cool Effect, a nonprofit whose projects are 100% scientifically verified and ethically proven.

When you add Green Shipping Protection at checkout, you can easily file claims for lost, stolen, or damaged items in the unfortunate case any of these issues arise. When you file a claim, it will be reviewed for approval by the BrüMate team for a reorder or refund within 24-48 business hours. Additional information may be required to complete your claim.

Note: If your order does not have Green Shipping Protection, BrüMate is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged items during shipping.


How much is Green Shipping Protection?

Green Shipping Protection rates are calculated during the checkout. Green Shipping Protection quotes will be shown during checkout under your order total, if available. Protection price varies on the items and quantities in your cart.


Do I have to purchase Green Shipping Protection on my order?

Nope. You do not have to purchase Green Shipping Protection on your order. If you opt-out, please keep in mind that BrüMate is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged packages that occur while in transit.
