What sets the BrüMate Pour Over apart from other pour over devices?

The Pour Over was designed for both the coffee beginner and the experienced brewer. This 20oz brewing system is BrüMate's innovative take on what a travel mug should be; easy to transport, cup-holder friendly, and has the ability to brew your favorite cup of coffee directly into the cup with our included, patent-pending pour over system.

What is included with the Pour Over?

The Pour Over comes with BrüMate's patent-pending nested pour over system + 10 custom filters that won't alter the taste of your favorite beans. 

Additional filters are sold separately through the BrüMate website. 

Coffee beans, measuring devices, grinder, and kettle are not BrüMate products and must be purchased independently from the Pour Over.

Is the Pour Over Leakproof?

The BevLock™ Lid made from sustainable Tritan Renew™ is 100% leakproof when locked and closed. The Pour Over lid also features a built-in soft-touch handle to make carrying your Brü easier than ever before.

How much does my Pour Over hold?

The Pour Over holds 24 oz when filled to the brim. With the lid, the Pour Over holds 20 oz. 

What coffee grind is best for the Pour Over?

A medium-coarse grind is best; think sea salt. 

How much coffee should I use in my Pour Over?

21 grams (or 4 tablespoons) is recommended per 12 ounces of water.

Are the BrüMate Pour Over Filters biodegradable?

Yes. We use ECF bleaching, a bleach and chlorine-free, non-toxic and FDA-approved bleaching method commonly used for filters.

Pour Over Replacement Filters are available for purchase through the BrüMate website.

Will the Pour Over fit in my car's cup holder?

The Pour Over is designed to be cup holder friendly. This being said, not all cupholders are the same. 

The base of the Pour Over is 2.98 inches in diameter if you want to check your cup holder.

Do you offer accessories for the Pour Over and other BrüMates?

Can I use MCT oil or coconut oil in my Pour Over?

Do not use MCT oil or coconut oil in your BrüMate products, as it can damage the integrity of the leakproof seal and Tritan material.
