What is the capacity of the BrüTank?

The BrüTank features a 2.8 gallon drink tank to mix your favorite adult beverage right in the cooler.

The BrüTank also has the capacity for the following:

• 50 12 oz slim cans (White Claw, Truly, Michelob Ultra, etc.)
• 48 standard 12 oz US cans
• 12 25 oz bottles of wine or liquor.
• 40 lbs of ice and drinks

Overall, the BrüTank has a 55 quart capacity.

Can the BrüTank be used with warm beverages?

We do not recommend using the BrüTank with warm beverages.

Does the BrüTank maintain carbonation?

This is not suggested. There are many outside factors that can affect carbonation and we can't guarantee the BrüTank will hold in the carbonation.

Does the BrüTank come with accessories?

You bet! The BrüTank comes with an attached bottle opener, a dry rack for storage, and a spout cover.

Is the BrüTank available for purchase everywhere?

At this moment, we are only able to ship the BrüTank to the Contiguous United States. We are currently exploring options for Alaska, Hawaii, outlying islands, and international shipping locations. We apologize for any inconvenience!

If you are looking to make an overseas or international BrüTank purchase, you can always have the item shipped to a freight-forwarder and then shipped to your final destination. We highly recommend setting up this service prior to making a purchase!

Please note: BrüMate does not cover any additional costs for shipping a BrüTank or other items through these services. Any items lost or damaged in transit by the freight-forwarder would also not be covered by BrüMate.

How do I switch the BrüTank spout to a standard plug?

Unscrew the interior threaded stopper counter-clockwise, and pull the tap out from the front of your BrüTank. Then, remove the drink tank. To clean, use a mild dish soap and warm water.

We recommend cleaning the drink tank after each use. To clean, make sure the tap or cooler plug are removed and remove the drink tank from the cooler. Use mild dish soap and warm water to clean the drink tank.

To install the cooler plug, repeat the process in reverse. Insert the plug into the BrüTank, ensuring that the gaskets provide a proper seal and are aligned. From the interior of the BrüTank, screw the threaded stopper clockwise to seal the cooler plug.

Always ensure that your tap or cooler plug is tightened securely and the gaskets are aligned to avoid leaks.

Why does my Swirl BrüTank not look like the pictures?

Here's a bit more information about the swirl design, which is unique to BrüMate. When doing multiple colors in rotomolded, only parts of the cooler will have the swirl effect, and others will melt together. Each cooler is completely unique, but all swirled coolers have this to some extent.

If you’d prefer a solid cooler you can initiate an exchange: BrüMate Returns Center. You can exchange for another swirl design, but please know it may have a similar look to the BackTap you currently have.

What do I do if part of my BrüTank breaks?

Why is my drink tank slow to release liquid?

When your BrüTank pours slowly, you can speed up the flow by opening the top vent plug to release pressure.

Heads up: Mixed drinks with pulp or fruit could potentially slow down the flow of liquid.

How do I remove/insert the drink tank into the BrüTank?

Drink tank instructions and photos are provided with the BrüTank! We have also provided written instructions below:

To insert/remove the drink tank:

1. With the spout removed, slide the drink tank into the cooler and ensure it is seated securely.

2. Line up the hole on the drink tank with the hole on the exterior. 

3. Insert the tap through the cooler and tank. Hand-tighten firmly to prevent leaks and test the tank with water before filling it with drink mix to ensure there are no leaks.

4. Follow these steps in reverse to remove the drink tank.

To remove/replace the drink tank lid:

1. Begin with the BrüMate logo facing you.

2. Lift open the black latch (parallel to the BrüMate logo).

3. Use the clear tab with the BrüMate logo to lift the lid off the drink tank.

4. Follow these steps in reverse to replace the drink tank lid. 

Pro Tip: You can also use the cooler without the drink tank to increase ice capacity!

How do I clean the BrüTank?

Cleaning instructions are provided with the BrüTank! We have also provided these instructions below:

1. Disassemble the tap or plug and remove the drink tank
2. Clean the tank and cooler with a mild dish detergent and hot water
3. Rinse the tap thoroughly with hot, soapy water and allow all components to dry completely
4. Ensure components are tightly fastened before use to prevent leakage

WARNING: Do not leave the BrüTank lid open during periods of long sun exposure while the drink tank is inserted.

Extra Tips for Cleaning:
The removable BrüTank accessories are dishwasher safe on the top rack!

After use, clean your BrüTank with a mixture of mild soap and warm water. Make sure to remove the drink tank after each use to ensure no moisture gets trapped underneath, and clean other areas prone to debris collection like the drain plug and lid gasket. 

Completely dry your BrüTank before storing with the lid closed.
