What sets the MagPack apart from other coolers?

Is the MagPack Leakproof?
Yes! The MagPack is 100% leakproof. Our innovative Pivot™ magnetic lid seals in the cold to prevent leaks.
How durable is the MagPack?
The MagPack's Repel™ Shell is 100% waterproof and puncture-proof to keep your gear protected on your adventures. It also features UPF coating to protect your cooler from fading and harsh UV rays.
Does the MagPack have a pocket?
Yes the MagPack features water-resistant zip pockets that can be used to store valuables in a pinch.
The MagPack pocket is located on the lid of the 24, 18, and 12 can coolers. The 24 can MagPack also features pockets on the sides.
Does the MagPack come with straps?
Yes! The 18 and 12 can coolers both have a removable carry strap and the 24 can cooler comes with removable backpack straps.
Does the MagPack come with accessories?
The MagPack does not come with accessories.

How do I pack the MagPack/ What Black Ice™ Packs fit best with this size MagPack?
One 3lb or two 2lb Black Ice™ packs placed horizontally on the top or the bottom fit best. Please note this will impact can capacity.
Is the MagPack available for purchase everywhere?
At this moment, we are only able to ship coolers to the Contiguous United States. We are currently exploring options for Alaska, Hawaii, outlying islands, and international shipping locations. We apologize for any inconvenience!
If you are looking to make an overseas or international MagPack purchase, you can always have the item shipped to a freight-forwarder and then shipped to your final destination. We highly recommend setting up this service prior to making a purchase!
Please note: BrüMate does not cover any additional costs for shipping a cooler or other items through these services. Any items lost or damaged in transit by the freight-forwarder would also not be covered by BrüMate.
How do I properly close the MagPack lid?
When closing the lid, apply downward pressure directly on the center of the latch to lock in place for a fully leakproof seal.
How do I clean the MagPack?
Wipe down with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary, and allow all components to dry completely. Refrain from using any harsh chemical cleaners to avoid materials degrading over time. For tougher marks, we recommend using a Magic Eraser. The MagPack also features antimicrobial fabric on the inside of the cooler to protect against bacterial growth.
How do I remove/adjust the straps?
12 Can + 18 Can:
- To adjust the carry strap, let out or take in fabric on the carry strap until you reach your desired length preference.
- To remove the carry strap, simply unclip the straps from the side of the cooler.
24 Can:
- To adjust the backpack straps, let out or take in fabric on the straps until you reach your desired length preference.
- To remove the backpack straps, simply unclip the straps from the back of the cooler.

How long does the MagPack hold ice?
There are many variables that can affect ice retention in your MagPack. Some of these variables include the ice quality/quantity, type of ice (crushed, block, cube, etc.), outside environment, and exposure to direct sunlight. Because of these variables, as well as the lack of an industry standard for measuring ice retention, ice retention timelines are not definitive and are based on ideal conditions. If you can minimize the negative variables that affect ice retention, the MagPack will be sure to keep your ice and drinks super cold!
A few other tips to help maximize your MagPack's ice retention:
- Chill your drinks before putting them into MagPack
- Use high-quality ice and ice that is completely frozen
- The more ice the better
- Keep out of direct sunlight or extremely high temperatures
- Keep the MagPack closed
- Keep the melted ice water in the cooler
- Rock salt can help keep your drinks super cold
- Pre-cool the MagPack with ice about an hour before loading it up
If you’d like to test how well your MagPack works, you can fill the cooler completely with ice and no water. In perfect conditions, your ice can last 48+ hours.
